Job Description

Love motorcycles? ICON Motosports, located in Portland, Oregon, is looking for a Studio Photographer to join our industry-leading motorcycle equipment design team. We are looking for a talented photographer to support our fast-paced creative, product, and marketing teams. This role will focus on producing high-quality studio product photography, action lifestyle imagery, and campaign assets for web, social media, catalog, dealer tools, packaging, and seasonal marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, passionate person with strong conceptual, production, photography, and post-production skills. A strong portfolio showing product photography, action lifestyle photography, and action sports photography is required. Motorcycle riding experience is very desirable.

Position is located in Portland, Oregon.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capable of taking photography assignments from concept through final execution.
• Produce high-quality studio product photography for helmets, jackets, gloves, footwear, apparel, accessories, and technical product features.
• Shoot action lifestyle photography both in studio and on location to support seasonal campaigns, product launches, social media, catalog, web, and dealer materials.
• Work with the Design Director, creative/art directors, designers, videographers, copywriters, web, digital marketing, and product development teams to meet creative demands and crucial deadlines.
• Light, compose, photograph, and retouch products with strong attention to color, texture, materials, fit, finish, and technical details.
• Photograph models, riders, motorcycles, and product in a way that supports brand identity and seasonal storytelling.
• Assist in planning shoots, organizing shot lists, preparing gear, styling products, and managing production schedules.
• Capture both clean e-commerce/product imagery and more expressive brand/action lifestyle imagery.
• Edit, retouch, color-correct, export, organize, and archive final image assets for multiple uses and formats.
• Maintain consistency across product photography, campaign imagery, social content, catalog layouts, and dealer-facing materials.
• Manage multiple jobs, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Organize and archive photography projects on the backup server.
• Continuously discover and implement new photography, lighting, retouching, and production techniques to improve quality and efficiency.

Experience:

• Proven work experience as a studio photographer, product photographer, action lifestyle photographer, action sports photographer, or similar creative production role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product photography, action lifestyle photography, and action sports photography.
• Experience shooting in a studio environment with strobes, continuous lighting, modifiers, backdrops, grip equipment, and tethered capture workflows.
• Experience shooting on location with models, riders, vehicles, or action sports subjects.
• Solid experience with digital photography, image processing, retouching, and asset delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom or Capture One.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is desirable.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color, texture, scale, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to photograph technical product details clearly and accurately.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Motorcycle, action sports, automotive, fashion, or outdoor action lifestyle photography experience is desirable

Education:

BA degree in photography, visual communications, graphic design, digital media, or related field preferred.
