RIDERS
Tony Carbajal
He might be only 21, but Tony C's got to be doing something right if he's nabbing roles next to Jason Britton in Team No Limit videos. Maybe it's the nickname (2 Tone Tony) - or his subterranean center of gravity (5' 6"). Whatever the reason, it seems to give Tony cojones the size of Riverside, California. Where, not coincidentally, he's from.
It's probably no surprise to hear that Tony learned his riding skills the old-fashioned way - on someone else's machine. "I grew up riding dirt with my brother, then jumped on my buddy's streetbike when I was 17," says 2 Tone. Stunting, it seems, is best learned on borrowed machines. "I rode it until I saved up enough money to buy my own". Touching stuff.
It was wheelies from that point on of course, which led to a 1st place finish in the Individual Dubwars competition out at California Speedway in 2006. But Tony C's got a humble side, too. When asked what he likes most about riding, he replies, "I love new things. Stunt riding is a never-ending learning process and creating new tricks never gets old".
So what's going through his head when he's riding? "If I'm wound up on energy drinks all I think is "more gas, more gas"! Okay, maybe not so humble.
