What is the temperature rating of the Patrol Jacket? We don't have a specific weather rating for the Patrol Jacket. However, the Patrol is engineered for all-weather riding. The Patrol Jacket has a Thermolite Insulated Liner that should keep you warm during cold weather riding. For additional warmth, the Patrol Jacket has plenty of room underneath to wear multiple layers if desired. For warm weather riding, the Patrol Jacket has multiple exhaust vents, and the Thermolite Insulated Liner may be removed.
Would you recommend this jacket as being suffficiently well ventilated for everyday hot climate riding - i.e. above 85 deg F?While the Patrol features a variety of exhaust vents for warm weather riding, you may be more comfortable in the Compound Jacket (http://www.rideicon.com/products/?productGroupId=70) if you are consistently riding in temperatures 85 degrees Fahrenheit and above. Like the Patrol Jacket, the Compound features a full liner for colder nights, but features more venting and lighter weight. The Compound is not waterproof, but can be paired with a PDX Waterproof Jacket when the rain starts: http://www.rideicon.com/products/?productGroupId=157.
