2004 Honda CBR1000RR

As youths we spent countless hours in smoke filled arcades feeding quarters into video pacifiers. It was a different time, when you actually had to leave your house in order too enjoy top level graphical entertainment. Those long walks to the arcade and the unfiltered cigarettes stolen from Dad's glovebox is what made us strong. One of the games that sticks so fondly in our collective memory is Technos Japan's Double Dragon.

The first of it's genre, Double Dragon, when played well, was a thing of beauty. So much so that it inspired the Legion helmet and jacket from Icon. This helmet and jacket, adorned with two (read double) dragons, went on to inspire other people. A prime example of which is shown here - the Legion CBR. The CBR, built in Japan, customized in America by an Icon superfan, and then returned to Japan. It is a poetic circle, much like the life of the Lotus Flower or the often over used elbow punch.
