For those who ride in the chaos of traffic, the situation is all too familiar. A distracted, tired, or furious driver nearly takes you and your bike for an asphalt tackle. Then, not wanting to make amends for their misdeeds, speeds off. However, a group of riders in Poland, including our own Ewa Pieniakowska, have embarked on a the I Motorcyclist campaign to raise awareness of the riders that drivers are putting in harms way.
Featuring riders and political figures from around Poland, the website and events shed light on the people behind the visor. This ongoing effort is an interesting take on getting drivers to look out from their haze and see that we riders are not all faceless speed demons. Well, at least not all of the time.
