Team Icon Brammo raced over the weekend and now we’ve doubled down. 58 (Steve Atlas) was joined at Laguna Seca by a “Black Stack” graphic’d Empulse RR ridden by 32 (Eric Bostrom.)
Fielding one bike in the TTXGP series is a major challenge but with two bikes, problems are inevitable – Our man Brian explains:
Brian Wiseman, Brammo’s Director of product development: “After a brilliant effort by team Icon Brammo to get a two bike team to Laguna, we were met with a good start on bike 58 (Steve Atlas) and a perplexing problem on Bike 32 (Eric Bostrom.) Although the bike ran great in testing, it seemed determined to run in reverse ahead of the first practice.”
The problem was diagnosed and resolved, but sporadic problems kept the practice sessions brief for the riders.
Still, in his second time riding the Empulse RR, Bostrom was on the box in 3rd and with only three previous laps at Laguna Seca, Atlas finished 2nd.
