As we mentioned a couple days ago Team Icon Brammo hobbled into rain soaked Portland for the second round of the eMoto US TTXGP post a GIANT high side during the first round at Infineon. After throwing down a few laps in practice Steve Atlas looked like he was unstoppable on the Empulse but qualifying saw Atlas and the Czysz team battling it out. Things were close until Czysz turned up the juice and fried his batteries – the electric equivalent of oiling the track. With the main competition out of the way Steve was picking off riders left and right and ended up with a lap best of 1:17.768 at well over 150MPH down the front straight.
Huge props to the Brammo crew for rebuilding a destroyed bike and SteveO for getting back in the saddle and into first place.
