I was out riding with some friends who decided to invite a new rider to join us. We were riding at about 55 when the new rider slammed on his brakes while deciding to cut right and turn into a parking lot. He did not signal and we collided with about a 35mph difference. My bike forked me off to the side, which caused me to land on my head and shoulder. I slid 30 feet on pavement after going over. The Icon Alliance helmet saved my head from a pretty good blow, it didn’t even give me a headache. The reviews I’ve read don’t lie, your stuff is great! Thanks for keeping me safe!. The other rider was fine too, though he got a little road rash from only wearing a hoody.
